An insightful, empathic non-union performer who brings special qualities to a production; 

a street smart actor not caught up in any particular acting modality.

Not a leading man but a very good, mature character actor.

Gentle, rough, crusty, reflective, calming, combative...whatever the character he portrays is calling for.

He has appeared as doctor, mayor (and a doctor) of a western town, a demonic being, a lumberjack crew leader, elderly grandpa, a hitman...and once portrayed a Julia Childs-type nun who got drunk while making a rum cake.

Initially performing on stage, he then moved primarily into independent short and feature film work.  Informercials, training modules, and commercial voice over experienced.

Teleprompter skilled.

Undergrad and Graduate Communications degreed from the University of Dayton.

On a side note: he has a 2nd degree black belt in jiu-jitsu, plays drums, writes "flash fiction" short stories and plays (at) golf.

David resides with his wife in Springfield, Ohio and will travel.
